Restored to its original condition in 1967, this stunning rotunda, now located at Marina Boulevard and Baker Street, is home to The Exploratorium, and is surrounded by a swan-filled lagoon. Chesnut Street, between Webster and Divisadero, is a favorite for its stylish shops and cafes.Crissy Field, a windswept stretch of shoreline extending from Marina Green to the Golden Gate, features a restored tidal marsh, coastal dunes covered with native plants, a shoreline promenade and sheltered picnic area. The 2.5 mile stretch of the Bay Area Ridge Trail starts next to the Presidio Golf Course Clubhouse and accommodates both hikers and bikers.
