Harris' Restaurant - The San Francisco Steakhouse
For nearly a century, the landmark address of 2100 Van Ness Avenue has hosted some of the finest meals on the West Coast. When Harris' Restaurant opened in 1984, in the old location of Grisons, it continued the rich tradition of luxurious dining in a comfortable sophisticated environment. In fact, Harris' was ranked as one of the nation's Top 10 Steak houses by the Wine Spectator.
Cuisine: San Francisco's classic American steakhouse
The service is attentive, but not intrusive, and our guests can rely on the utmost attention to detail.
Goetz Boje, her partner in business for many years, created a menu using only the finest Mid-Western, Angus beef available. Our beef is primarily from Kansas and Nebraska. It is corn-fed and dry-aged on the premises for three weeks. The dry aging process brings out the fullest flavor from the beef, which is then prepared over a Mesquite grill. Our Executive Chef, Michael Buhagiar has culinary training and has been with the restaurant since opening day. His attention to detail and his knowledge of fine dining is evident in everything he does.
Harris' Steakhouse has become a household name in the Bay Area. Our commitment to the classic traditions of an elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and extraordinary cuisine, have made us The San Francisco Steakhouse. |
